นับเป็นข่าวที่ช็อกแฟนๆกันไปทั่วโลก เมื่อ "สแตน ลี" ผู้อยู่เบื้องหลังการสร้างสรรค์ตัวละครการ์ตูนซูเปอร์ฮีโร่มากมายของมาร์เวลได้เสียชีวิตลงแล้วด้วยวัย 95 ปี เมื่อวันที่ 12 พฤศจิกายน 2018 ตามเวลาท้องถิ่น โดยผลงานของปู่ลีที่ครองใจแฟนๆทั่วโลกก็ได้แก่ Spider-Man, X-Men,The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man และ The Fantastic Four เป็นต้น

โดยหนึ่งในธรรมเนียมที่อยู่คู่กับ "สแตน ลี" มานานและเป็นสิ่งที่แฟนๆคุ้นตากันเป็นอย่างดีก็คือการมักไปปรากฏตัว Cameo เซอร์ไพรส์แฟนๆในผลงานภาพยนตร์หรือซีรี่ส์ของมาร์เวล ตั้งแต่อดีต มาจนถึงปัจจุบัน และนี่คือบรรดาฉาก Cameo บนโลกภาพยนตร์มาร์เวลของปู่ลีที่เรียกรอมยิ้มให้แก่แฟนๆและจะเป็นอมตะอยู่ในความทรงจำตลอดไป
